The Bodia Group runs a range of fundraising activities to ensure we have a consistent stream of income. From a biennial charity ball in Brisbane, to side projects like The Bodia Buzz, we're actively keeping the Australian community engaged. Without the support of the incredible community, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Every second year The Bodia Group throws a black tie charity ball in Brisbane with free-flowing drinks, live music, raffle prizes, entertainment and more. Our most recent event in 2023 raised over $54,000!
Bodia Cocktail

We threw our first charity event in Canberra in 2023, raising over $8,800. Our cocktail event welcomed the Cambodian community in Canberra alongside the general public for a night of music, dancing, food and entertainment.
Independence Day

The Bodia Group was invited to the Cambodian Ambassador's residence in Canberra to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia, as well as Cambodia-Australia Diplomatic Relations. The Bodia Ball
The Bodia Group raises majority of our funds through a biennial ball. A much-anticipated Brisbane event, the team spends months preparing the party of the year. With profit raised from each ticket going towards our fundraising goal, the rest of the ticket costs ensure free-flowing food, entertainment and drinks all night.

The Bodia Cocktail
We threw our first charity event in Canberra in 2023, raising $8,820! Our cocktail event welcomed the Cambodian Association in Canberra, the Khmer Buddhist Temple community, alongside the general public for a night of music, dancing, food and entertainment. With speeches from the Cambodian community, exciting raffle prizes donated from the Canberran community and a silent art auction, our guests partied into the night, raising money for scholarships in Cambodia.
The Bodia Buzz
One of our founding members Jess Robertson started The Bodia Buzz fundraising initiative in January 2020. Jess bravely shaved off her hair, raising over $4k for our mission. If you want to do the same to support youth in Cambodia with higher education, please get in touch!
